Participants must show that they are mature enough to participate in the program that requires: Interest in learning about the Irish culture Deep desire to integrate a different family and share actively their everyday life Enthusiasm for learning the language communication skills, and work during the lessons Willingness to make new friends An open and flexible attitude Therefore, we would recommend that the student is no less than 13 years old. Cancellation PolicyCANCELLATION OF A STAY FROM THE PARTICIPANT
All cancellation requests must be signed and sent to Parlito. The date of postmark, fax or e-mail reception will be considered the valid date of cancellation. Generally speaking, when the cancellation is confirmed more than 45 days prior to the beginning of the stay, cancellation fees are €200. Between 45 days and 8 days, 50 % of the total cost of the stay is requested. Less than 8 days prior to the arrival, 100 % of the cost of the stay is due. No refund will be done for a participant who begins a program, and who decides to shorten it. Please note that some programs require a higher non-refundable deposit as well as specific cancellation fees. These specific sales conditions are indicated on the program information sheet, available on request. CANCELLATION OF A STAY FROM PARLITO The organisation of the stays may be directly linked to a certain number of participants. In case the number of participants is not reached 21 days prior to the beginning of the program, PARLITO may cancel the stay and refund all the money paid by the customer to PARLITO. This cancellation cannot be less than 21 days prior to the beginning of the program. Moreover, PARLITO reserves the right to cancel the application of a participant if the balance of the stay is not paid 1 month prior to the beginning of the program, or if the application is incomplete, or information are wrong, or if new information on the participant are not compatible with the program. |

This international summer camp is organized at the Beech Hill College, a vocational school located in Monaghan. English classes are held in the College classrooms. The College was established in 1979. Campers enjoy the school facilities during their stay. LOCATION Monaghan. There are small mountains and several lakes in this beautiful county located in the North of Ireland, close to the border with Northern Ireland. This is traditional countryside of snug farmhouses and market towns. ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS An all-weather running track, fully equipped sports hall and 2 football pitches are available on the school campus. Monaghan Town has some very attractive shopping such as Monaghan Shopping Centre, Flemings and Dunnes Stores. There is a wide diversity of other shops in the town. There is also a Cineplex as well as a theatre. Rossmore Park (320 hectares in size) is a beautiful natural resource situated at the edge of the town. The park is a sanctuary for a large number of birds, animals and plant life. ACCOMMODATION An application form has to be filled in by each participant; this « profile » is then given to the tutor and the host family by our local coordinators, who, in accordance with the tutors, will create the teaching groups, and will match students to carefully selected host families taking into account the needs and interests of everyone involved. Typical Weekly ScheduleThe schedule below is just an example of the program our participants attended last summer. It may be subject to changes. On Saturday there is an excursion to Dublin or Malahide Castle included. The Sunday is spent with the host family.
